GWMail for Students

All students have now been transitioned to the new GWMail service! You can access your GWMail account from the MyGW Portal

Students were required to move to GWMail by February 2009, at which point all existing student CMail accounts were deactivated. For assistance, please visit the ISS Student Technology Services website or contact the STS Hotline at 202-994-7041.

Colonial Mail for Faculty and Staff

Faculty and Staff may continue to access Colonial Mail by logging in above with their GW Netid and password.

GW Account Management Console

For Faculty and Staff:

Use the GW Account Management Console to set up mail forwarding, a vacation auto-response program, or change your password.

New Student?

GW Students now use GWMail instead of CMail. You can create an account online. You will then access the GWMail system using the MyGW Portal.

New Faculty or Staff Member?

If you are a new GW faculty or staff member you can create an account online. You will use this page to access your e-mail.

Be careful opening any email attachments. Email viruses are always making the rounds. See help desk.gwu.edu for more details and the latest virus alerts. You can also download Norton Anti-Virus to safeguard your system.
